What is “Earth Analytics”? I just, kind of, came up with it and it seemed to fit. To me, Earth Analytics is the intersection between Earth Science and Computer Science. That is the niche I want to narrow in on.
This blog will be one key component of my journey to establish a niche. I will use it to highlight interesting projects and establish a portfolio that will be helpful to prospective consulting clients. However, I also want the blog to be useful to others with similar interests and goals. From that perspective, I will try and not only describe what I have done, but how I did it.
In the coming months (and years?) I hope to post about a wide range of topics:
- Environmental data quality control
- API development
- Snow modelling
- Inverse theory
